Fire Training Center

All lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Includes security guards, police, construction employees, factory workers, and other laypersons. It is specifically designed for lay rescuers who are required to obtain a course completion card – a credential – documenting completion of a CPR course.

Course Includes:

  • CPR (Adult, Child, and Infant)
  • Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (Adult, Child, and Infant)
  • Signs of Heart Attack, Cardiac Arrest and Stroke
  • Use of the AED for Adults, Children, and Infants

The First Aid portion of the course includes:

  • Patient Assessment
  • Legal Aspects
  • Shock
  • Bleeding Control
  • Wound care
  • Head/Eye Injuries
  • Heat & cold emergencies
  • Medical emergencies
  • Fractures, sprains, and strains
  • Burns
  • Chest and abdominal injuries
