First Person on the Scene Matters

The First Responder, a 40-hour course, is designed to provide basic emergency care knowledge and skills to the student who will provide the first emergency care. The objective of the first person on the scene is to recognize the needs of the patient, minimize discomfort, and prevent further complications. This course is a scaled-down EMT course that we gear toward an industrial setting.
